Push the locking lever into the roll up position.
Lifting the handle on the arm releases the lock allowing you to raise the awning.
Release a sticky awning ratchet lever by releasing the awning lever with one hand while pulling down gently on the awning support arm with your other hand.
Make sure the awning is high enough to clear the door.
Pull the support arm to release the ratchet attached to the other end of the lever.
With your helpers holding the two awning arms slightly off the ground begin pulling the fabric out of the track making sure you have plenty of room in front of or behind the rv.
There is no purpose to take them out unless you want to replace the awning.
